Basic idea
You’ve been ordered to put an ignition interlock device in your car. We know this can seem difficult, but it won’t be if you choose Smart Start of Oregon. We are cheap, easy, and convenient, because we know that you just need to get on with your life. A Smart Start of Oregon car breathalyzer will help you do that.
We install an Oregon breath analyzer on your vehicle that is electronically connected to the ignition. This ignition interlock device, the SSI 1000, is about the size of a cellular phone and designed to be inconspicuous. When you breathe into the unit for several seconds, it measures your breath alcohol level. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is over the authorized limit, your vehicle will not start. Otherwise, you’re on your way!
Oregon interlock device law mandates monthly service and calibration of your court-ordered Oregon car breathalyzer. Appointments are quick and easy, and you can take care of your monthly lease payments at the same time. With everything else going on in your life, we want your Smart Start of Oregon ignition interlock device to be as easy and simple as possible.
